Apple Bee furniture is constructed from the best materials. This certainly applies to the cushions. Bee Wett® cushions are special weather-resistant cushions that you can simply leave outside. The removable covers are made of sturdy, washable fabrics. These fabrics are water-repellent and UV-resistant.
Unlike ordinary foam, the unique Bee Wett® filling does not absorb moisture. This special foam is produced with an advanced process called Hydro-Blast Reticulation. This process gives Bee Wett® foam its unique porous open-cell structure, making it perform better than ordinary closed-cell foams without reticulation. The large, open pores in the foam allow water to drain quickly and fresh air to circulate freely and continuously.
The open fabric on the underside of the cushion provides perfect drainage. This ensures that Bee Wett® cushions dry spectacularly faster than other cushions. In addition, they feel luxurious, are stronger and provide more support. This is why our cushions retain their shape.
. Brush away dirt and dust regularly to prevent it from settling into the fabric fibers.
. Clean up spilled moisture and dirt immediately to prevent staining.
. Avoid harsh chemicals such as harsh detergents or chlorine as they can damage the fabric.
. Carefully clean the cushion covers by soaking them in a soapy water with mild soap or machine wash them on a delicate program at up to 30 0C. .
. Rinse the covers thoroughly to remove soap residue.
. To maintain the water-repellent properties of the fabric, add a small amount of fabric softener to the final rinse.
. Place the covers back on the cushion pads immediately after they are washed and still damp to ensure a tight, wrinkle-free fit after drying .
. Allow the cushion covers to air dry. Avoid using a dryer or iron, as these can damage the fabric.
